c|net Shopper.com -- This is my favorite place to look for new computer equipment. Just search for the item you want and you'll get a list of the best places to buy it on the Internet, with complete pricing info.

Consumer World -- This site is a great web resource for finding bargains and consumer information. You'll find over 1200 links to news, resources, corporate sites, travel information, credit card bargains, shopping, government info and other money-saving stuff. You can also find out where to complain about rip-offs and fight back!

CD Now -- This is probably the best online shopping spot for music (and now videos), but that's not why I'm listing it. I like it because it's also a nice database -- look up an artist and you get a list of nearly all (if not all) titles they've produced on CD, and in some cases cassette tape, laser video, and video tape. Even some imports are offered. The list usually includes information like release date, length, and even a complete track list. Some titles are rated, too. Of course it's all available to order online, too (at pretty good prices).
