- WhiteHouse 2000 -- A great election information page, with links to everything you want to know about it, including the candidates, humorists, journalists, and more.
- National Fraud Information Center -- Visit here often to keep up on the latest frauds. It has a daily Internet fraud watch, phone scam info, special information for senior citizens, and more. You can report a fraud to them, contact other agencies, and learn to protect your own financial information.
- U.S. Department of Justice -- Check out the FBI's 10 most wanted (see "Fugitives" under the Topical list), report your tips on criminals, check out the latest news on recent bombings, etc.
- United Nations -- Take tours and get conference updates, news releases, etc.
- Library of Congress -- Access over 70 million documents online. Copyright Office, Congressional Record, etc.
- Consumer Information Catalog -- You can download those pamphlets you keep hearing about on TV (from Pueblo Colorado). Some you have to pay for if you want printed copies, but you can download them for free.
- Wacky Patent of the Month -- This one won't take much time or bandwidth, so it's worth a trip once a month. Read about some strange patents and theior inventors. (You can also look up previous months' "awards".) Also patenting info and inventors links.
