- Amazon.com -- Today's Deals -- If you haven't been to Amazon.com, then this must be your first day on the Internet! Amazon in the undisputed king of book shopping sites (and now CD's and videos, appliances and more). Check this page for their specials, up to 90% off.
- Wise Words by Cool Men -- Movie goofs and trivia, and more, plus free wav files from movies, TV, and cartoons.
- USAopoly -- Wow, I never knew there were so many specialty games. You've probably seen the versions of monopoly for your favorite state, city, or college, but have you seen Star Trek Monopoly or The Simpsons edition of Clue? How about Curious George Scrabble or X-Men Monopoly? Check out these cool games -- you (or your kids) spend too much time on the Internet anyway. ;-)
- PBS Kids -- PBS has done a great job on this site for kids. Besides getting info on all of their great educational shows, your children can play 47 different online games, plus coloring, karaoke, etc., learn fun facts about making TV shows, send E-mail to PBS characters, and lots more.
- Broadcast.Com -- Listen to tons of news broadcasts on hundreds of subjects, including special shows and live broadcasts. Also auctions, a CD Jukebox, live TV and radio, and audio books.
- Hallmark -- This site is about more than just greeting cards. There are seasonal activities like writing a letter to the Easter Bunny and othr creative projects. They also have a free reminder service, contests, a collectibles forum, and information about their TV movies.
- Star Trek: WWW -- This is Internet's most comprehensive Star Trek resources collection! Every mailing list, homepage, newsgroup and newsletter is listed here. Online since 1994!
- Hometime -- This is the site for the Hometime TV show. Get past show highlights, information on tools and materials, how-to tips, a store and a user's forum. Also has a site search engine.
- CD Now -- This is probably the best online shopping spot for music (and now videos), but that's not why I'm listing it. I like it because it's also a nice database -- look up an artist and you get a list of nearly all (if not all) titles they've produced on CD, and in some cases cassette tape, laser video, and video tape. Even some imports are offered. The list usually includes information like release date, length, and even a complete track list. Some titles are rated, too. Of course it's all available to order online, too (at pretty good prices).
- Caryn's Virtual Playhouse -- Site for this actress includes photos, resume, essays, video clips, RealAudio 2.0 slide show, VRML theater as well as links to points of personal interest.
- Poltergeist: The Legacy -- This is the official web site of the new TV series by that name. You can find images, episode information, production notes, Quicktime movies, and airtimes here.
- The Outer Limits -- Have you been watching The Outer Limits TV show? This is the new one, not the old black and white one. It's cool! This is the official web site for them, with good graphics, episode information, showtimes, chat, and trivia games.
- MTV Online -- Should be self-explanatory, right? Major multimedia site, Beavis and Butthead, music, videos...
- Sony Online -- Lots of stuff to do and find out about here...music, games, electronics, movies (remember they own movie companies now!), TV, shopping, etc. Always something new.
- Supermodel.Com -- Whether you want to be a supermodel or just like looking at them, this is the best place to go. Also listen to Real Audio clips and do some shopping, read their newsletter and interviews, and more.
- The Travel Channel -- Online companion to the cable TV channel, this is a great place to go for travel information.
- Discovery Channel Online -- From the cable TV channel... very attractive site, lots of information.
- The History Channel -- Home page for this A&E cable channel. Whether you're a history buff or just want to know what happened on this day in history, this can be a cool site to visit.
- The Sci-Fi Channel -- The Sci-Fi Channel (as in cable TV)
